Gabriel Hjertqvist - our new salesmen!

I guess you all have noticed that on the photos, beside our dear saleman Anders, there has been another guy standing. People from Southern Sweden and Denmark, we have something for you - Gabriel Hjertqvist, who is going to take care of exactly these markets.

And this is how Gabriel introduces himself:

Hi my name is Gabriel Hjertqvist and im the new sales manager for southern sweden and denmark. I will be the new 

contact for all of you situated in västergötland/östergötland and south from there. I live and work in Halmstad wich is optimaly placed to have close to you all.

I´ve been working for the past 3 years at a national machinedealar helping too sell and marketing slurrytankers. Before that i studied economics at Halmstad Högskola 

and graduated with a bachelor degree in realestate economics 2011.

Busy first day at the APF exhibition

Today, has been a good day here at the APF where FARMA CT 7,0-14 4WD has found a new happy owner and has been a lot of fantastic interest about our products. There has also been a lot of positive feedback from the customers who are owning our produced machines that are helping them in their forestry and agricultural work.

Busy thinning days in Sweden

Last Friday and Saturday we attended a great show called Gallringsdagarna. It was a brand new concept of the show to demo different thinning methods. We demonstrated our FARMA-N tractor processor and FARMA CT 6,3 – 9 4WD and both got a very good feedback.

Finnish dealers visiting the factory

Today we had our dealers visiting from Finland: people from Etukone , Lakkapää , Viitakone , Vörå Maskin och Traktor and Yrjö Tenkanen together with our Salesmen Tero. They spent the whole day at the factory – looking how everything is made and trying the machines out themselves.

We had a very nice day with our dealers and we wish them a safe journey back home!

6S pilot project found its end

Couple of months ago we posted news about how FORS MW is going to realize the „6S Methodology“. Who does not remember, then this methodology is about how to organize a work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and sustaining the new order. The name „5S“stands for five Japanese words: SEIRI, SEITON, SEISO, SEIKETSU and SHITSUKE. There are five 5S phases: They can be translated from the Japanese as "sort", "set in order", "shine", "standardize", and "sustain". And we added 1S more, which stands for SAFETY!

And the pilot project found its end –the welding department was trained by Roman Zahharov, who is a senior consultant at Lean Enterprise Estonia. The project was arranged under his supervision and our people at the factory and office, did a great job and the changes are impressive! Even though in the beginning some of the workers found it useless and as a waste of time, in the end they admitted that it helped a lot to improve the work process and is making the work-flow smoother and more efficient.

We had a nice event at the factory, where we rewarded everybody who were participating, and an extra honor to these workers who were extra eager. The event ended with eating a cake which was made especially for this event.

But the 6S did not stop there! Our people, together with Roman are planning to take further steps and to implement 6S at all the departments.

FARMA and BIGAB travelled from mainland to island

APF 2016 is the UK´s largest and most exciting forestry, woodland, arboricultural, trees and timber event, which is going to be staged as biggest event in their 42 years of history – the show caters not just the forestry, woodland and tree care industries but also pays significant interest towards the farming industry. 

And where there is an exhibition, we are also there with BIGAB and FARMA machines and equipment. At the moment the groundwork is taking place – our team is building up the stand, where you will find a wide range of our lumber trailers – among all the machines we have there market´s favorite T8 and T9. 

But for those whose needs are higher, we have something as well! Professional and value-for-money T14 4WD lumber trailer – the frame is more impact-resistant and its form, with angled surfaces, allows the trailer better to deflect high stumps and rocks in the forest. This trailer will be equipped with a modern 7.0 meters long G2 crane with a link arm system.

For those, who are seeking for a hook lift trailer, we have there BIGAB 10-14, which meets the quality and equipment availability demands of the professional operator. The 10-14 model is recommended when several different drivers work with the same unit. Thanks to the fixed tower and simple design, the trailer is reliable and easy to operate.

We are in Göteborg!

September is a busy month – especially in Sweden, where last weekend we were at the Load Up North and now we are in Göteborg where the Entreprenad Live 2016 is taking place. This regional expo gathers and strengthens the construction industry and creates conditions for good business. And of course , BIGAB and FARMA are not going to miss it out.

We have there our Swedish team, who are there to assist you. And machines we have there for example are market´s favorite FARMA CT 6.4-9 4WD lumber trailer, new BIGAB 15-19T hook lift trailer with double telescope and also BIGAB dump trailer BT-8.

Beginning of the busy exhibition season in Canada

Picken Farm Equipment Inc is now at the Expo Brome in Quebec, Canada where they have all the models ranging from CT 4.2-6 to CT 6.3-10 on demonstration. Customers are invited to test drive FARMA CT 6.3-10 to see the smoothness of the control and the powerful precision of the frame steering.

On display until Monday September 5th so jump by to see the great range of FARMA and to say hello to them.

Another FARMA deal done at the Finnmetko exhibition

It has been very busy three days here at Jämsa where one of the biggest forestry and agricultural exhibition in Finland takes place. Both FARMA and BIGAB have been scoring, especially our G2 series products have been extremely popular here.
