Preparations for FINNMETKO, day 2.

Sun is shining and the work is in progress in Jämsa where we are setting up our stand for the Finnmetko 2016 exhibition. We will have there our Finnish salesmen Tero, also people from the factory and dealers, who are there to assist you.

Make sure to drop by from Thursday to Saturday to have a closer look at the European market leading brands FARMA and BIGAB.

This weekend FARMA and FARMA-N at Mittia Gårdsbruk!

Our very experienced Swedish salesmen Anders is at the Mittia Gardsbruk exhibition with our longtime dealer Staffare AB. At this exhibition we have FARMA trailer and FARMA-N tractor processor. 

You will find us today and tomorrow (26-27th of August) at the Stand A:01 and then you will have a perfect change to talk with our salesmen about the machines we are offering.  

We are also glad to announce that beside Anders, we have a new salesman Gabriel Hjertqvist at Mittia. Gabriel is going to take care of the market in Southern Sweden and Denmark. 

But we will keep you updated about him more in near future, so stay tuned!

Exhibiton season is not over!

Summer is almost over, but the fair season is still on and we are reminding you that seeing the machine in real life and having a  possibility to discuss your needs with our people from our factory, gives you much better overview and you will get exactly a machine you have been looking for. 

September is going to be extremely busy, since we are attending to 5 different fairs, in 5 different countries. 

In the beginning of September we have 2 exhibitions at the same time – in Germany we are attending to Karpfhamerfest, which is going to last for 5 days and happens in Griesbach im Rottal, Germany.

Meet Grete Puhm - our quality engineer

Since May, Grete has been working with us and now we would like to introduce her to everybody. She has done a very good job within those 4 months and we are very happy to have her in our team.

But let´s give her an opportunity to introduce herself - what is she doing exactly and what does she like to do at her free time: 

Hello

My name is Grete Puhm and I am working in FORS  MW as a quality engineer since May 2016. My biggest challenge is to get into all the legal documents, so far I have read over thousand pages of EU regulations and directives, and also sorted out all necessary information which is valid for our trailers. Now I gather the data what is related with our products and future needs. 

There is a lot to do and I am sure that my team members at FORS MW will support and help me during this journey.

I studied in Tallinn University of Applied Sciences and I graduated the mechanical engineering in 2009. While I studied in the university, I also worked as a coordinate measuring machine operator (CMM) for five years; this work gave me very good skills to read drawings and also knowledge about metrology and measurement techniques. Since I was very interested to move further, I started to work as a quality engineer in 2012. Mainly I was helping the production to solve quality issues, responded to customer complaints (corrective and preventive actions) and I was doing internal audits based on ISO 9001 quality management system standard.

From the end of the year 2013 I am a member of the folk dance group, a few times a year (sometimes more), we dance in public events. This is an activity what I love to do at my leisure time and also it keeps me in shape :)

This is a brief overview about me and I am very pleased that FORS MW gave me the opportunity to do work that I enjoy.

Finnish salesman Tero is visiting our dealers

Our Finnish salesmen Tero is travelling around Finland and visiting our dealers, in order to have feedback from the market – what is new and what customers wish. Yesterday Tero visited  @Vörå Maskin och Traktor and had a nice time there, being hosted by Daniel and Ingvald. 

Thank you Daniel and Ingvald for your time and kindness during Tero´s visit there. 

Busy morning at FORS MW again

Within few hours another load of our machines is heading out to our dealer Chippenham Farm Sales Ltd.

Overseas visitors from Canada

FORS MW people have had a long nice vacation and now we are back to satisfy our customers wishes. We are happy that our Canadian dealer Brad and his wife Connie from Picken´s Farm Equipment are here to visit us. FORS MW´s CEO Peter Kastberg together with our International Sales Manager Tom Belton were visiting them a couple of months ago in Canada. 

A tour around our factory was made and also a trip to the farm in Kidise, where we like to take our dear guests, in order them to see our machines in work and to put hands on them too. 

We are happy that people who we work with, show up interest towards us and make an effort to come and visit us. And it is so great to hear that more and more people from Canada are interested of our FARMA trailers and cranes.

We wish a safe trip back home to our friends from Canada and looking forward for on-going collaboration.
