FORS MW Family Day

A week ago we had a very nice FORS MW Family Day where our employees had chance to bring their families to the factory.

The kids had lots of fun activities like getting to tour the factory, jumping on the trampoline, take photos with the machines etc. In addition, we showed to the families FARMA crane and BIGAB hook lift trailer in action. Bigger kids had also chance to participate in the welding workshops. After the activities in the manufactory we had a tasty barbeque. There was also a local band playing nice music at the background.

What an awesome place to work and what an incredible colleagues to work with!

It´s a hit! – BIGAB 15 – 19 T

BIGAB 15 – 19 T was first introduced to the market three weeks ago and already we see a future market leading model in the making.  BIGAB 15 – 19 is one of the most proven and sold hooklift trailers on the market. Many are the customers who can speak about its reliability. At the same there has been interest in a BIGAB that can take different container lengths. A hooklift that can combine both short containers/bridges for contracting work as well as long ones for agricultural and trucking. BIGAB 15 – 19 T offers our users all in one. A flexible and versatile trailer. The exchange system is built with a telescopic tower which allows handling container lengths from 4600 – 6000 mm. The stable model 15 – 19 are now taking a step up and becomes by so the reliable link between our smaller BIGAB models and larger.

Midsummer Holiday

In a couple of days Sweden celebrates Midsummer Day. Midsummer marks the longest day of the year. Our Swedish colleagues will have holidays on Friday the 19th of June.

Next week is time for Estonia to celebrate Midsummer Day. This is one of the oldest and most important holidays in Estonia. There are many old traditions for this special day. One ritual is the lighting of the bonfire and then jumping over it. Our Estonian office is closed from Monday and we will be back on Thursday morning.

So please don't worry if during that time you don't get an answer to your email or phone.

A nice sunny demo day for our FORS MW China workers in the Estonian forest

Yesterday we had a really nice demonstration day to our Chinese colleagues. We demonstrated our most popular BIGAB model 15-19 and one of our most professional FARMA Generation 2 trailer T 16 4 WD in action. Last but not least we showed how to operate our NIAB. It was a great day and so fun to be able to show our Chinese friends of how our machinery actually is used in tough circumstances.

A big Thank You to the Fors MW team!

A few minutes ago we received this nice mail from our sales representative Anders Svensson in Sweden and the ones of us that were on these exhibitions can only confirm the positive feedback from all the visitors.

Hi.

We have now ended 3 exhibitions in Sweden during the weeks. The largest of them was of course Elmia last week. I just want to say a real big thank you for all the work with the exhibition trailers.

We showed the market more news than anyone else did, news that the market have asked for.  AND we showed good-looking trailers. So I just want to say a big thanks to all of you that have been involved….Construction, welders, paint, mounting …transport. Etc….You all have done a real good work and sent trailers to our exhibitions in time before exhibition and the trailer was in real good shape, shiny and good-looking. So from all the Swedish sales-guys (which means only me for the moment… J ) I just want to say thanks a lot.

Saying thanks to Charlie!

Yesterday we had the traditional company dinner which Fors MW always has during the Elmia forestry shows. We had our Chinese friends with us as well as Swedes, Britt’s and Estonians. All gathered for one special reason this evening. It was time to say thanks to our aftermarket guy Charlie Appelgren who has worked for us for more than 15 years representing our aftermarket. Charlie is not leaving us but he will slow down his work pace starting from September since it is his well deserved time to do so. So we took this opportunity to say thanks for everything. Charlie has been the backbone of the aftermarket and has done it with honor.

Fantastic day at ELMIA!

We have had a fantastic day at ELMIA in Sweden. Loads and loads of interesting customers. We have always received a lot of attention at this show but today exceed all expectations. Hundreds and hundreds of interested customer. Positive feedback all the way. We are Europe’s number one forestry brand and today we really felt it too.
