BIGAB news presented at the Stockholm show!

The show in Stockholm has ended and we would like to thank all the visitors for the nice attention our stand received and our product developments introduced for the first time on this show. Product developments specially developed with the contracting segment in focus. Our long term friend BIGAB 15 – 19 was at place in a bit of a new design. It has been equipped with a telescope so that it can handle container/bridge lengths between 4,6 – 6,0 meters. At the same time we presented yet another Z crane in the length of 8.0 meters in full reach. The huge success BIGAB dump trailer T8 has received a big brother in the size of T 10. Last but not least we presented a new BIGAB Generation 2 trailer in the size and model of BIGAB 12 – 15. BIGAB G2 stands for increased tipping angle and tipping speed. Now we pack everything and head to SkogsElmia, Jönköping Sweden. There we will present even more news but then we set the focus on FARMA. Welcome!

BIGAB Z 8.0 crane - A crane for contractors

At Maskin Expo in Stockholm, Sweden BIGAB has introduced four product developments which three of them has been introduced here earlier this week. Now it is time for number four. At the show we present a new BIGAB Z crane. This time in the size of a 8.0 reach of the crane. A crane for contractors where the function and design of the Z-crane have been developed specifically for BIGAB. The crane is designed to be parked in front of the tower in the transport position, so that it does not cause disruption during exchange and tipping. The 8.0 Z crane has a reach of 8.0 meters and the lifting force is 590kg at full length.

Two days of show in Stockholm

It has been two days out of three at the Maskin Expo exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden. It has been a good show with quite a lot of interested customers. Our stand is covered in several important news. There is something new to be found in regards of agricultural, forestry or contracting businesses. The news are well received of the audience and we are pleased over the reactions.

Our Strong Enough café has been well visited but we do think that the most of the attention has gone to this little fellow, the MIGAB 0.3 – 0.5 model. M stands for Mini – Mini BIGAB. Björn Kjellman who has built this amazing little hooklift system was kind enough to lend us this trailer for the coming shows this summer. It is a show stopper and it should be. It is fantastic and so well done.

 BIGAB 12 – 15 G2 – A new Generation hooklift!

During the Maskin Expo show in Stockholm, Sweden BIGAB introduces yet another model of hooklifts under our Generation 2 product range.

 – Tipping angle of 60°. An increase of 12 degrees to the previous model.

– Improved tipping speed. Tips in half the time of previous model.

– Lowering in float/free flow position.

– Frame lock/bogie blocking for safer/quieter hooking.

– Duplex hydraulic lock for the frame.

– Bolted drawbar for increased flexibility.

– Fully shot-blasted chassis painted in two-component paint for higher UV PROTECTION. Makes the paint harder with lasting glow.

It is finally here – BIGAB 15 – 19 T

BIGAB 15 – 19 is one of the most proven and sold hooklift trailers on the market. Many are the customers who can speak about its reliability. At the same there has been interest in a BIGAB that can take different container lengths. A hooklift that can combine both short containers/bridges for contracting work as well as long ones for agricultural and trucking. BIGAB 15 – 19 T offers our users all in one. A flexible and versatile trailer. The exchange system is built with a telescopic tower which allows handling container lengths from 4600 – 6000 mm. BIGAB 15 – 19 T is as standard equipped with a hydraulic shift lock. The stable model 15 – 19 are now taking a step up and becomes by so the reliable link between our smaller BIGAB models and larger.

The success continues - BIGAB presents - Construction Dumper T 10!

BIGAB construction trailer T 10 is the second model to enter the market in regards of our new construction tip trailers series under the brand name BIGAB. The range started with introducing the already immensely popular BIGAB T8. BIGAB T 10 is based on the same unique construction concept. Trailers designed with focus on the wheeled excavators and tractors. The first of its kind on the market with the easily adjustable bogie and a weight of 2180kg.

BIGAB construction trailer T- 10 is in standard equipped with 500/50- 17 tires, top/side hanging door, adjustable bogie and drawbar. Hydraulic flap down rear door is available as option as well as the mechanical lifting tailgate.  The front head board is raised to offer load protection too.

It has been a couple of hard weeks in production and assembly preparing for the upcoming shows in Sweden and Germany. There is yet one more week of preparing for the biggest forestry show of the year, SkogsElmia in Jönköping on the 4^th to 6th of June but we will manage that too. It has been hard work for everyone but we can feel proud when we now head for exhibitions. We will once again show why we are the market leader.

A few days ago we had the possibility to thank Rein Unt for all his hard and dedicated work for Fors MW other the years since Rein is retiring. Rein has worked as our electrician for more than ten years and knows our machinery better than most. Many thanks Rein for all your hard work. Best of luck with everything. 

Maskin Expo Exhibition, Sweden just around the corner

It is exhibition times in Europe at the moment and Fors MW takes place at several of them. Next week it is time for the contracting fair Maskin Expo in the Stockholm area of Sweden. BALTIC FORESTS 2015 EXHIBITION

We welcome our new Marketing Coordinator Kersti

She has been working in Fors MW for a month now. Although, she is new in the business but she has been showing good results and is hungry to learn more about the industry.

Kersti  has just returned from overseas. She spent 3 years in Australia, where she was working in one of the mining consulting company as a marketing specialist/analyst. 2012 she went to China, where she was studying Mandarin and Chinese culture. During a two and half year time in China she was representing  various companies in China.

Her main focus at the moment is to deal with social media, take part and organize different exhibitions and collaborate with our Chinese office.

Her ambitious, self-motivated personality and overseas skills will be helpful for FORS MW to achieve its overseas goals. 

Kersti’s hobbies include, but are not limited to, travelling, yoga and reading.

Risto Aasa- a new member of the reclamation team

Risto started in Fors as a trainee in September 2014. He has done excellent work and we have decided to hire him on a full time basis as reclamation handler in FORS MW. 

Risto’s work includes solving Internal and Supplier reclamations. His main aim is to improve the quality of our production.

Currently, he is also preparing his Master degree in Production Engineering at the Tallinn University of Technology and will graduate this summer. 

Risto has been part of the family farming operation since he was a young child. That’s why he chose Fors MW, so he can combine his personal interest with his work. In his free time Risto enjoys playing volleyball.

Risto has been ravishing us from day 1 with his can-do attitude and positive mind. We are delighted to have him onboard our team and wish him a lot of success!

Report from the Construction Live, Sweden

So the fair has been up and running for two out of three days. The visitors have not flowed to large quantities but yesterday gave us a really good day with many reputable customer contacts. Interest in BIGAB contracting is huge. On site there is also a FARMA Generation 2 trailer and as usual attracting great success. At place we have two of our BIGAB news. First up is a BIGAB T10 dump trailer. A big brother to the sales success of T8. A unique trailer with its adjustable bogie and the adjustable drawbar. In addition, we are also launching the BIGAB 12-15 G2. A hook lift system with high tipping angle and fast tipping. A Generation 2 trailer so to speak. However, the one who waits for something good ... at Machine Expo in Stockholm, Sweden in two weeks we present this year's biggest BIGAB news.

Time for Entreprenad Live in Sweden!

So it is high season for exhibitions in the northern countries of Europe. Fors MW kicks off the spring/summer season with the contractor show, Entreprenad Live in the South of Sweden. At show we show several of our market leading BIGAB hook lift systems but also a brand new dump trailer, T 10, following the same brilliant concept as the popular dump trailer T 8. Meet our Reclamation Manager Kert Uibo

Kert has now been working in Fors MW as the Reclamation Manager for a 5 months. During this time he has actively worked with our new reclamation system, which will be introduced to our dealers in the upcoming months. We will change the way to respond and handle the reclamations. This makes the whole process easier and faster for everyone. 

Kert is also dealing with the system development, where his aim is to improve communication between dealers and Fors MW. This can help us increase the quality of the production.

Kert spends his spare time kite surfing and biking. He is always happy and brings joy to our Fors MW family.

Great work Kert! Continue in the same spirit!
