What a SIMA show it has been! Forth day arriving.

Today is the last day of SIMA and what a show it has been so far. We have not had this kind of response in a show for quite some time. It is fantastic to meet all the potential customers and listen to their feedback about the FARMA and BIGAB products at the stand.

We have also had the great pleasure of having most of our French dealers supporting us in the stand every day of the show. We are really grateful for that however we do see that it is worth their time being busy all day long. You can read more about them and the SIMA journey on our blog,

The photo shows our stand at SIMA just before opening of the show. We have 120 square meters at our disposal making us the only producer of our type of machinery having our own stand at the show. 

Meet dealer Laurent from Ets Giraud et Fils

Next door to our stand we have one of our dealer Laurent Giraud from company Ets Giraud et Fils having a stand of his own due to being an importer for several brands on the French market. But being next door to us on the show also means him assisting with potential FARMA customers when in need for that. Many thanks to Laurent for his support and the great sales in France for FARMA!

Great activity at the SIMA stand!

The success at SIMA Paris continues with loads of interesting customers. The interest is usually good for our products when participating at shows around Europe but SIMA has taking this to a hall new level. Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Nicolas and Pierre from company Marsaleix to take part in dealing with customers at the stand.  Thanks for the support guys!

SIMA Paris, what a Hit!

At 14.30 today our dealer Marselaix sold this lovely FARMA Generation 2 trailer model C 7,0 – 12 to a client in France. To a customer just passing by the stand but in need for a forest trailer. That seldom happens at shows. Mr Denis Drouillat is the client and he will pick it up directly from the show on Thursday after SIMA closes. Mr Drouillat received a nice bottle of Estonian liquor Vana Tallinn for signing the deal today. A signing that took place on the Estonian national day out of all days =)

Guy is an old friend of Fors MW being the dealer for Belgium but also acting on the Northern French market in regards of selling BIGAB since many years. Guy is taking part of the stand during the show taking care of the BIGAB customers. We are thankful for that but also Guy has been helpful in putting the stand together ahead of show as well as assisting us on Friday when it is time to pull the stand down. Many thanks Guy!

What a start of SIMA, Paris!

Yesterday SIMA kicked off at the exhibition center in Paris and what a day it became. Over our 25 year old history as a company we have never received such a response on the first day of a show as we did yesterday. Loads of interesting customers and dealers and just standing next to the stand listening to the French visitors point at the stand and saying, there is FARMA, gives you a nice satisfaction feeling. Finally we see that years of hard marketing and sales work are paying off in France. Four more days to go here at SIMA, Paris, at the world’s second largest agricultural show. Passing by? Pay us a visit at hall number 5 stand 102.

Great pressure in the stand – CEO in action!

Here at SIMA we have a huge interest for our products. The world are speaking about a slow French economy of that we felt nothing the first day of the show here at SIMA. Our CEO Peter Kastberg joined us yesterday and will stay for the hall show. It took him 3 minutes before he had to deal with all the interest of our products. Here in action talking to some Spanish customers of a BIGAB 20 – 24. Thanks to speaking French our CEO managed the Spanish customers as well. 

Stand preparation for SIMA

On Sunday it is finally time to open the doors for the French exhibition SIMA in lovely Paris. From Fors MWs side we present both our popular FARMA lumber trailer series as well as the multi – flexible hooklift system BIGAB. As for now we work intensely on fixing up the stand ready for show on Sunday. Fors MW is represented by Tom Belton (Sale representative UK/France), CEO Peter Kastberg and market manager Ulrica Fors Stenmarck as well as several of our French dealers. 

Greetings from Czech Republic - Great movie

Here is a really nice FARMA Generation 2 movie from Czech Republic and our dealer JPJ Forest. The movie shows our popular FARMA CT 7,0 – 10 Generation 2 trailer. In this movie it is working together with a restored LKT 75 tractor which is 40 years old. With a FARMA everything is possible. 

Time to recruit

Fors MW is expanding and in that process we are in need of reliable and knowledgeable members to the Fors MW team. During a couple of days our CEO Peter Kastberg and our Information manager Ulrica Fors Stenmarck visits our daughter company in Norrköping, Sweden to conduct the interviews. We have met some really interesting people from the industry and look forward of what will come out of these fruitful meetings. Keep yourself updated. Read the blog. 

Homepage meeting

Friday morning we had yet another homepage meeting at our advertising agency in Växjö, Sweden. As we have informed earlier Fors MW is about to launch a brand new website in 2015. And as far as we can tell out of the designs and discussions so far it will be a page that none in our branch has yet been able to present. It’s some really hard work in front of us but one that we look forward of taking on. Keep yourself posted of the work. Read the blog. 

SIMA 2015 PARIS

With just two weeks to go until Sima 2015, alot of working is going in to making the show a success for all. France is a market where Fors MW have seen a really good  growth in over the past two years and with the full range of products now Homologated we expect that to continue.

Being commited to large shows in Europe is vital for us as  Company. This is where we meet customers both old and new and where we hope to strenghten the special bonds we have between our dealers and and their customers.

Belgium says hi!

Here is one really nice looking combination. In the picture you can see our FARMA C 8,5 m crane fitted to a fully Galvanised trailer made buy Record in Belgium. This crane/trailer  combination will be used by an Oyster farmer in the French coast to lift the Oyster Nets from there post to harvest them.

Yet another nice use even though a bit unusual use for our cranes---Do you have one more unusual use for a crane—if so please share!! Send us on info@forsmw.com

STOCK READY FOR SIMA in France

With just 2 weeks to go before our first major exhibition of the year in Paris,its great to see a dealer filling their yards with stock before the show. Today 4 lumber trailers with cranes as well as a crane on 3 point were off loaded at one of our dealers in France.

Sarl Marsaleix,has done just that, with a full fange of FARMA products now in stock we can delivery to customers in good time as they order.

New dealer in UK - Brian Robinson Machinery

This week our new dealer in the North of England, Brian Robinson Machinery in Northallerton, took our top selling T14 4 WD G2 with the impressive C7.0 crane to the Yorkshire Machinery Show.

Despite freezing conditions and snow flurries all day the show was well attended and customers positive. The trailer on show is a fully equipped T14 with radio steering valve. After the show it will be delivered to the customer for whom it was produced.

Aftermarket meeting in Estonia

During this week we have had a two day meeting with our friends on the aftermarket division in Sweden. Fors MW have for 2015 made several changes in regards to the structure of our aftermarket. One of those is to add a reclamation manager to the team to be stationed at the factory in Estonia. Other changes are the way to respond to reclamations and the actual handling of the same. An updated version of the reclamation handbook will soon follow. A step which we feel confident will lead to fast response, feedback and structure. But even though we do a lot on the topic right now, more will follow. Keep yourself posted by following our news and blog.

Nice machinery show in Kumla, Sweden!

Last week it was finally time for the traditional fair by the name of Hindersmässan in Kumla, Sweden. The weather however showed itself from the worst side. It was changing from one minute to another. From plus degree and pouring rain one minute, to minus and snow the next, even though the spirit was great.

Our dealer Närkes Traktorcenter had quite a lot of visitors during the days. Tuesday evening they as the tradition states open their facilities for entertainment and a festive mood. We here at Fors MW was of course at placed and showed some of our products.
