Mellanskog ELMIA attracted visitors from all over the country. Fors MW exhibited FARMA forest trailers and NIAB tractor processor together with our dealer Stigtomta Bil & Traktor. The interest in the stand was resulting in many interesting conversations about our products. Many of the conversations were made by people who already own one of our products. We always appreciate the feedback that our users provide to us. After all, that is what we take with us into our future development.

FARMA CRANE IS CHOSEN AGAIN

Recently our dealer in Ireland, Dave Power Plant supplied a FARMA C 5.3 CRANE to Irish Engineering Company Falcon to fit on a purpose built Mini Forwarder they will produce.

Out of the pictures you can see what a fine job they have done too. The crane we supplied was fitted with the arm rest mounted Ergo Joysticks or “PALM PILOTS” for comfort and ease of use.

The forwarder will now take on a series of demos over the next few months.

Mellanskogs Elmia fair 21 – 22/8, Sala

This week it is time for the new Swedish forest exhibition to take place in Sala. Fors MW are at place along with one of our dealers in the area, Stigtomta & Traktorservice. At place we show our bestselling lumber trailer FARMA CT 6,3 – 9 but of course also our really popular Generation 2 trailer CT 7,0 – 12. NIAB tractor processor is at place as well.

Mittia fair

For the second year in history we last weekend had the opportunity to show our FARMA and BIGAB products at the fair Mittia in the more northern parts of Sweden together with our longtime dealer Staffare. Our Generation 2 products are well recieved on the market. Due to the develop investments that we have pulled into this we are grateful for that response.

We thank Staffare for a nice weekend and hope for great sales to come from this!

Interested customers on Interforst stand

The Fors team was nicely surprised at the huge amount of interest from the customers at the show Interforst in Germany in July. It was a pleasure to talk with them all. To meet customers that was up for interesting discussions.

For example we had the customer Auburger from dealer Lechner, Bad Abbach-Dünzling that had bought a CT 8,5-12 FARMA G2 which was shown on the fairy.

Das Fors-Team was sehr positive überrascht von den gut informierten und Fachkundigen Besuchern auf dem Stand der Interforst.

So übernahm z.B. Herr Auburger, ein Kunde unseres Händlers LECHNER Landtechnik  aus Bad Abbach-Dünzling den CT 8,5-12G2 welcher auf der Messe ausgestellt wurde.

Herr Auburger hatte sich bereits im Vorfeld der Messe bestens von der Firma Lechner beraten lassen.

TRAILERS AND PLANES, Report from UK exhibition

From the 21 to the 24^th of July we were lucky enough to be represented at the Royal Welsh Show by our dealer J.DAVIES & SONS. Despite the shock of temperatures of near 30 degrees in the UK, and not any sign of rain, business was brisk and orders were taken.

Although hot dry days are not perfect circumstances for selling 4 WD trailers the interest in the G2 FARMA product range was very pleasing.

To cap off a fantastic few days we were treated to several very low fly passes by a pair or Spitfires. The sound of the 27 LITRE V12 Rolls Royce Merlin engine is still something very special.

Long distance traveler

Recently we took a call from a customer in need of some information to help him with his “new’ trailer. Of course as always, we were glad to be of assistance. He was from a place called “Ranfurly”.

Ranfurly is a village on the South Island of NewZealand. The FARMA trailer in the pictures had first been sold to a saw mill in Scandinavia. Then when the entire sawmill set up was sold to a company in New Zealand. This FARMA trailer was squeezed into the container and 100 days later it arrived to start to work on a small family plantation where it continues to work today.

A quick look shows this trailer has travelled around 18,500km since it left Saue!!! Quite a trailer. Quite a story.
