Interforst, Germany – Quite a success

Last week we took part of the forestry fair by the name of Interforst in Munich, Germany. The weather was nice but as for most of Northern Europe extremely hot. We are more than satisfied with the response on the FARMA and NIAB products at stand. Actually, several FARMA trailers were sold on spot at the fair. More than on display so the order book is building up nicely.

As on Agritechnica we had stand collaboration with the Finnish company Palax that sells firewood processors among other things. We thank Sari and her team at Palax for some really nice days and hope to see you all soon again!

First day of Interforst, Germany!

Even though summer break at the blog we need to give you a small update from Germany.

Today the large forestry fair by the name of Interforst kicks off in Munich. Fors MW are of course at place along with 3 FAMA trailers; CT 8,5-12, CT 6,3-9 and last but not least CT 4,2-6. Also showing is the NIAB tractor processor. Nice weather and blue skies promises perfect conditions for the show.

AS FORS MW is the story of one of Sweden’s real heroes - the entrepreneur. As so often with entrepreneurs it’s not the goal in itself that is interesting, it is the journey to reach it.

Leif Fors, company founder and CEO are entrepreneur by birth. Companies being established have always been handled with the same hard work and energetic fire.

The story about Fors MW started with a ferry trip, destination Tallinn, at the end of the 80 - ties. The journey was conducted out of curiosity and public interest but what would reveal itself not further away then 400 km from Swedish boarder would shake the entrepreneur by his roots and he choose to stay and has not really left since then.

As entrepreneur he saw an opportunity to create something and by doing so creating a future for him self as well as for others.

Fors MW manufactures forest, agricultural and contractor machinery. Products we then market and sell world wide. The concern is the leading producer in its field and one of the most profitable companies within the mechanical industry in Europe.

Fors MW is based with part of production and most of the assembly in Estonia. The company is Swedish owned, established in 1992 and one of the oldest companies to be established by foreigners in Estonia.
