FARMA G2 – The sales a climbing!

It is nice to see that the FARMA G2 trailers that was introduced to the market in its full product range last summer at ELMIA WOOD has received such a nice welcoming on the markets all over Europe. The trailer series runs from T 10 to T 16 4 WD. The sales are increasing and looking back we can to our satisfaction notice that we have by far sold more than the expectations for the first half year. The G2 trailer series are more than a facelift. It is a complete product development with design protected features. It is a trailer series with Design in every sense of the trailer. It a trailer series that makes us proud!

Helms dealer visit from Denmark

Yesterday we had yet another nice dealer visit at the factory in Estonia. This time it was the BIGAB dealer Helms from Denmark that paid us a visit. Helms have been with us for some years now and we are very satisfied with the collaboration and the progress on the market. As always a factory tour was needed since you never know what has happened since last time. Several market issues were of course also up for discussion. We like what we see. We like what has been delivered and we look forward of achieving our goals together in 2014!

Many thanks Helms for the visit!

YrjöTenkanen paid us a visit along with Finish magazine!

Yesterday we also had a nice visit from our Finnish dealer friends YrjöTenkanen. Along with them they brought a journalist from the Finnish agricultural magazine Urakointi. A presentation of our fantastic company was of course needed along with a discussion of the market development. Beside that we took them for a tour around the factory where as always the shoot blasting machine along with the paint line was two of the most impressive stops.

At the same time we also took the opportunity to sit down with our market team that handles Sweden, Denmark and Norway to discuss important market topics.

Crane Sales!

Here at Fors MW we have seen a rapid increase in the sales of loose cranes over the last couple of years. By loose cranes we refer to cranes sold separately and not along with a trailer. We are of course not surprised over this development. It goes hand in hand with the fantastic Generation 2 crane product range that we rolled out on the market some years ago. A range hard to compete with for others.

FARMA G2 –In focus in production!

We have so many orders in from all over Europe for our new trailer series FARMA Generation 2 that was presented in its full range last summer at ELMIA WOOD. It is fantastic to see. The picture shows the design protected frame of the FARMA G2 trailers. A feature with design but most of all it gives stability at the same time as it gives a movement to the trailer never earlier seen in the forestry business.

Longing for summer!

Some weeks ago I received these fantastic pictures from Sweden showing a BIGAB 7 – 10.  BIGAB 7 – 10 is our smallest hook lift trailer but nevertheless it sells very well and especially for those in need to get into those narrow spaces. Then usually it is equipped with our popular frame steering. The pictures have been sent to us by Lars Eriksson from Fjugesta, Sweden. They do make you long for those nice and hot summer days, don’t they? A few months more and then…

Good times around the corner!

We have the last month noted a market increase in orders for all three of our market leading brands BIGAB, FARMA and NIAB. Increases in level around the pike in 2008. Of course it is extremely joyful. All indications are that the economy is moving in the right direction and we see the same response from all over Europe.

While we joy over the new momentum under our wings, the company is also facing challenges. Nice ones indeed but nonetheless challenging. Delivery times increase and customers frustration along with it. To switch production level takes time. Resources were added as soon as we could see the market tendency become a trend. Measures that shortly will provide shorter delivery times. Even though good times are ahead, that’s for sure which is gratifying for all of us. This also places demands on all of us to act faster both in regards of production but also from our customers in regards of placing orders. Anyway, Fors MW is up for the task and we will deliver on the challenge!
