An update from Austria
A couple of weeks ago we received these photos from Austria on a Reform
Muli. It looks fantastic however please note that the top seat has been
developed in Austria and is not something that Fors MW provide. Fors MW has taken
the decision not to provide such solutions to the market due to the risks
involved. Even though it is a really nice carriage!

Production development meeting BIGAB
Last week
we sat down for a couple of really interesting hours to discuss the future of
BIGAB hook lift systems and its potential applications. It was a basic brain
storm meeting, with the purpose of such, since even though we have a lot lying
in pipeline for BIGAB in regards of development, we from time to time take
those brain storm meetings to let discussion run high and low. A great meeting
that put a smile on our faces. We will tell you more when the time is ready.
(The BIGAB on the picture might not have anything to do with the discussion taking part)

Swedish magazines paid us a visit!
Yesterday
three of Sweden’s largest newspapers in regard of agriculture, forestry and
contracting paid us a visit at the factory in Estonia. During a couple of hours
our CEO Mr. Peter Kastberg took them on a factory tour introducing our Fors MW
company as well as our three market leading brand names. We thank for the nice
and enjoying visit!
Real cold in Estonia!
As earlier
written here at the blog it is now real winter in Estonia. Minus 24 degrees
during the days but with clear blue sky, no wind and loads of snow it starts to
look like a fairytale. We do love a good winter and you know spring is the next
season to arrive in some shorts months.

1001 blogs!
The blog started in 2008. It has yearly been updated with
around 170 blogs per year. That means around 2 – 3 updates per week. We
have several thousand that read our blog every week from all over the world and
we do understand why. It is a company’s journey. In good times as well as in
bad times. We tell it as it is. Now celebrating more than 1000 blogs! But we
will keep them coming!
Delivery for Canada!
The
Canadian market is growing as we speak. Several deliveries over the past couple
of months. This week we have this nice 40 foot container leaving our yard in
Estonia destination Canada. It is fully
packed with all kinds of different FARMA equipment. Since being a deal outside
Europe it is handled by Tom Belton at Fors MW International.
Hindersmässan in Sweden is in full swing!
As every
year it is time for the annual exhibitor in Kumla, Sweden named Hindermässan.
An old fair with ancestry hundreds of years back in time. Our dealer Närkes
Traktorcenter has of course opened its doors and puts on a stunning winter machinery
show. Fors MW and our products are at place along with our sales representative
Anders Svensson. A lot of visitors albeit in really wintry weather.

FARMA CT 8.5-16 4WD G2 - A really popular forest trailer!
It has soon
been a half year since we introduced the T 16 4WD to the market after testing
the trailer for two years to see how it behaves in extreme cold as well as
extreme heat. It is FARMA largest forest trailer with a 8,5 m long crane. A
trailer for the pros. They get what they want. A unique and highly functional
design. It´s fun to see that the trailer is received well by the market. It has
by far exceeded our market estimates and is currently sold to countries such as
Norway, Sweden and England where this trailer was delivered before Christmas.

about the Generation 2 trailer T 16 4WD in the brochure you can find through

Out loadings this week
Fors MW
have a really nice order stock beginning of 2014. We have a huge interest from
many countries which is really nice. It finally seems as if most parts of
Europe are coming around as well. This week we have out loadings of ready
FARMA, BIGAB and NIAB to countries such as Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Italy,
France and actually South Korea. A deal that was made after them paying us a
visit at Agritechnica in Hannover in November. Things are moving in the right
direction now.
Winter is finally here!
After a
long and warm winter the one we prefer has finally come. Now it is around 15
minus in Estonian and at least 10 cm of snow. The air is clear, there is no
wind and the days are filled with sunshine. Of course most of us long for
summer, since leaving in the Nordic parts o Europe but winter days such as
these are fantastic.

Yet another nice BIGAB in Holland!
This
combination of trailer is sold by Hissink & ZN to a nature organization in
Holland which is responsible for the maintenance of nature areas in Holland.
The trailer will be used in wetlands. That is the reason for the customer
choosing those big wheels, to reduce the pressure on the soil. The trailer is
also equipped with steering axle. By so the trailer will limit the damages to
the forest and ground protecting plants. The multi flexible BIGAB hook lift
trailer will be used for collecting and transporting wood, grass, straw and
soil.

Production
The spirit
of the company is founded on the beliefs that it is better to earn less per sold
product and sell volumes then to do the opposite. In order to continue to keep
pace with the business idea, at the same time increasing turnover and
profitability, we need to keep focus on best price, in all areas. That involves
constant work in all processes within the Group. Production is constantly being
monitored.
Fors MW
yearly uses 1400234 kg of steel in our production processes in Saue. China
sourcing not accounted for.
Around
172177 m of hoses are used on a yearly bases.
Fors MW has
119 sea containers (10 per month) on a yearly bases at seas to bring sourced
goods from overseas to the production facility in Estonia.
