Really good days at Animals & Livestock Fair!

There have been a couple of really good days at the fair in Jönköping. Although the forest is not in focus at the fair, the response to our stand with FARMA and NIAB products has been really good. To be completely honest the primary focus has been on the FARMA Generation 2 trailer. At the fair represented through a CT 7,0 – 10 G2. It attracts loads of attention. The response to the concept around the design and functionality is overwhelming. We do of course see that in our sales statistics but the response these days makes the trend we have seen the last couple of months to become the truth – a FARMA Generation 2 trailer is in a class by itself! 

Nice visit to the Animals & Livestock stand!

This morning we got a nice visit to our stand at the exhibition by Anders Söreke with family who were checking the family's latest investment. This time a FARMA CT 7.0-10 G2. Anders is one of the group's most loyal customers, and has on his large farm a NIAB tractor processor as well as, a BIGAB 12-15, energy cutter BC 18, grapple bucket 160 liters and a forest trailer from FARMA model CT 6,3 - 9. Now it's time to replace the 9 ton trailer with a new Generation Forestry trailer CT 7,0 – 10 G2 this time with the big seller C 7,0 crane. Congratulations to Anders to a really good choice and thank you for today´s visit!

Time for yet another Swedish exhibition!

Tomorrow we kick off yet another exhibition in Sweden. This time it is the Animals & Livestock fair at ELMIA in Jönköping in the south of Sweden. We are of course at place with our forest range. At the stand you will find our market success FARMA G2 forest trailers as well as our popular tractor processor NIAB.

Focusing on Germany!

Today we have our sales representative Peter Roos from Germany visiting the aftermarket office. At the same time Christer Persson our head of design visited the meeting for a couple of hours listening into the reclamation discussion to take notes with him to back the design team and drawing tables in Estonia. A good day and a step for forward!

Aftermarket Meeting!

I am at our aftermarket office in Norrköping, Sweden for two days discussing all aspects of aftermarket along with the staff. We started the day with constructive conversations in regards of everything from reclamations to service and support. As well as further development of the website based on today´s issues. Tomorrow Peter Roos our sales representative from Germany will come for a visit. It will be a long but important day focusing on routines of how we work.

Staffare is opening up in Skellefteå, Sweden!

Staffare, one of our dealers in Northern Sweden is opening up in Skellefteå. There is a grand opening this weekend 11 – 12 of October at the new premises. Here you will find a range of FARMA trailers as well as BIGAB G2 in demonstration and so much more. Our sales representative Anders Svensson is at place both days.

FARMA G2 – A huge success!

Walking around assembly one does not need to be that smart to realize that FARMA Generation 2 trailers are a huge success on the market! Looking at sales numbers you get it confirmed.

Launched at ELMIA WOOD in June but already out on the market in big numbers. Are we surprised? Well, perhaps a bit in regards of the slow market but not in regards of the actual trailers. It is fantastic trailers. Inspiring design and functionality at its fullest. Developed by forest owners for forest owners.

Meeting in assembly!

Today a meeting was held in the assembly. At the meeting was assembly managers, designers and CEO gathered. All of them to discuss how we can streamline the production and assembly of our popular FARMA Generation 2 range. A good dialogue with hope of joint cooperation. 

Load up North & a specially designed part driven by FARMA

This past weekend it was time for the Load Up North exhibition to take place. A construction fair in Norrbotten, in a place named Boden . There is a lot happening in northern Sweden right now. An entire town is to be moved to make way for the mining industry. Roads need to be built, mines to be opened. We're talking about a huge investment.

At the show, Fors MW took part together with one of our dealers in the North by the name Staffare AB. At the stand, we showed BIGAB G2 in operation, a trailer that always draws attention due to its ingenious solution with 2 single acting pistons.

However, what drew the most eyes and questions, was a specially designed driven FARMA part for a Huddig . The FARMA drive was developed in cooperation with Staffare and is supposed to be a help to carry the carriage in extremely poor conditions. Besides, with the help of this dockage on a large crane and thus get it out into the field at the line work. The picture shows Huddig 1260C with the driven part connected.

FARMA takes part in Swiss exhibition

During the middle of August our new dealer in Switzerland-KELLER FOREST MACHINERY had an impressive stand at the Swiss forestry exhibition in Lucerne. As you can see by the pictures the weather was perfect and a busy stand made for the perfect exhibition, on show they had a CT 6,3 – 9 and a CT 4,6 – 7.

FARMA in the South East of France

During the year Fors MW takes part of hundreds of small and regional shows throughout Europe as well as of course appearing at many large agricultural and forestry events. The small shows though are vital to our business. Here you see a FARMA CT 6,3 – 9 at the Beaucroissant show in the South East of France.

Austrian company Holzknecht visiting!

This week we have had a nice visit of the Austrian company Holzknecht who visited the factory in Estonia for a review of BIGAB as a product and brand. It was an active day of many discussions. BIGAB both in theory and in practice were reviewed. Holzknecht is the company that ordered 20 BIGAB Z cranes for some months ago for the adoption to lumber trailers for the Austrian market. We thank for the nice visit!
