Next up - Sundahls Maskinaffär Växjö

Jan Sundahl greets us as the third generation to lead a well – known family business. Evert Sundahls founder of the company work no less than before, although he with prudence has hand over the responsibility of running the family business since several years ago. Now he concentrates instead of the fun work of selling. However he was there to greet us along with Anders and Peter. Two of those that are very much involved in the sale of our product range.


I like to boast that we are very proud to have the best possible dealers and Sundahls Maskinaffärer is yet another example of that. After a few nice days in the south, we head back home, really satisfied, we have a fantastic sales team, a market leading product range and a company with muscles to develop new items. That gives true satisfaction!

Östra Sönnarslövs Traktorservice AB Hässleholm

On our tour of Southern Sweden visiting Fors MW dealers it is now time to visit Östra Sönnarslövs Traktorservice where I am meet Mats Larsson. He is responsible for the sales in the yard in Hässleholm. Mats have been successful with the sale of FARMA in the area. When I ask Mats, which of all models that are his favorite, he answers quickly – CT 6,3 – 10”. However just by looking at the sales statistics we know that he is not alone in that either about the crane or trailer. I wish to thank Mats for a very enjoyable visit and wish him best of luck for the future!

Fors MW (Swedish/Estonian Company) today congratulates the Crown Princess couple of Sweden to their lovely daughter that was born early this morning. The girl born this morning is an heir to the throne of Sweden and her birth will be saluted all over Sweden with 42 cannon shots at noon today.

New grapple design Huge success


The new grapple design which was introduced under the name Generation 2 at the Elmia show in 2009 has since then been a huge success. We planned for sky rocking sales and indeed, so we have seen. All the Generation 2 models are selling well but looking more carefully we can see that grapple 0,16 and 0,19 are the best sellers along with insert buckets for the same sizes. Spring show Smålands Traktor


Smålands Traktor had this weekend its spring show. Beautiful weather and lots of interesting machines including two BIGAB hook lifts, two dump trailer T 10 and last but not least two FARMA lumber trailers. There were many customers on site who all enjoyed the exemplary service and the large table of cakes (in Swedish Semlor) that were set. Smålands Traktor has also, as you can see from the pictures, focused on our great stand for displaying the grapples which was mounted in their showroom a stand which attracted considerable attention. We are confident that these days will see to it that there will be several nice deals made out of them!

Make it a double


BIGAB hook lift system is the best sold hook lift brand in Europe. It is the original hook lift developed more than 30 years ago. The sales and markets have increased over the years. One of the first BIGAB´s to be developed was the BIGAB model 15 – 19 and over the years we have sold so many of them. Quite often you see two of them working together as here in the pictures from south of Sweden where two 15 – 19 works side by side at a construction site. A great view for all BIGAB fans!

Maskingruppen Färjestaden

Maskingruppen in Färjestaden had its annual show on their beautiful premises on the island named Öland. There was a wide range of machines at place for all the customers that took the time to pass by and there were many of them. On site from Fors MW were two BIGAB hook lift system but also two BIGAB dumper trailers model T 10. We had some nice days at the show and we thank Maskingruppen in Färjestad for their warm welcome!

Maskingruppen Staffanstorp



On our trip through southern Sweden we also meet with a great dealer of ours Maskingruppen Staffanstorp where Sven and his staff greeted us. They have done a fantastic team effort in 2011 and increased its sales of BIGAB sharply in the region of Öresund. Just a few steps away from Maskingruppen we saw two entrepreneurs who both had bought one BIGAB each and was working with a huge task at the premises of Söderberg & Haak. We thank for the visit and for the good cooperation!

A sweet deal

We have been working for quite some time with some potential customers from Mauritius. There interest lays in BIGAB to increase the productivity in the sugar cane industry.  Some weeks ago a sweet deal was made when a couple of BIGAB 22 – 27 where ordered – destination Mauritius.

VIKTOR-THE FRENCH POCKET ROCKET

It is time to introduce yet another member of the Fors MW team. Viktor, the company car, is the un-song hero of the team. He is a multipurpose car that never complains and rarely fails to deliver. He is used for most such as airport runs, getting our in flown staff from Europe to and from work in Saue, collecting spares and here in the picture, when taking Svante and Ago down o the farm, loaded with spares for some days down at the farm for testing our products in – 20 degrees. So, just saw you know – even the French rocket plays a vital role in Fors MW product development.

Cold but beautiful

In Estonia it has been really cold the last couple of weeks with temperatures down towards minus 30 degrees so if you are planning for a visit bring along the warm jacket. Estonia usually has really cold winters with loads of snow. This year there has been less of snow and to be honest less of the coldness as well compared to last year. 2011 we had to load lorry after lorry after lorry to take away the snow from the yard for the production to function properly and we did not do it once during last winter, we did it over and over again so in comparison this winter feels pretty good.

Maskingruppen Ängelholm

On our tour around Skåne a couple of weeks ago visiting some dealers, one of our stops took us to Ängelholm. We started with a nice lunch at the Lindab arena which is the home arena for the pride of the town – Rögle hockey team. We had lunch together with Bengt, Lars and Pär – Ola. The agenda for the meeting was dealt with quickly, but we felt that we discussed the important things before reality caught up with us in form of customers, who needed Bengt and Lars obvious attention. Pär – Ola however took care of us showing us that typical hospitality that only people from Skåne knows how to do and at the same time he gave us a nice tour around the grounds.

Advertising for 2012 booked!

It takes about a week to book all ads for the year ahead. Loads of e – mails are sent back and forth to each magazine in each country of interest but finally you reach that moment when all the” books” for 2012 are closed and all deadline dates for material is written in the calendar. It is a fantastic moment each time. However now it is time to pull up the sleeves and get started because for 2012 we have booked advertising in 11 countries in 10 different languages which all in all sums up to more than 350 ads.
